Buying Prints/ Understanding Crop. Houston photographer.

So you’re interested in buying a print?  YEAH!  It makes me so happy to have my art displayed on your wall! Here are a few things to consider when deciding to buy a print.  When you view your images in the gallery slideshow you are viewing them at a 5×7 ratio.

Let’s say you want to purchase a 8×10, 11×14, 16×20 or a square 16×16.  If this is the case, you would have to CROP a portion of the photo. Let me show you an example.

Here is one photo shown at a 4×6, 5×7, 8×10, and square ratio….

As you can see, we lose part of the babies booty every time we crop.  So, before you have your heart set on a particular crop size… I would recommend asking me if it crops OK.
